Our Green Ethos
Our shared goal with our partners is to create carbon neutral communities by 2030. To date, our modern method of construction (MMC) strategy will reduce carbon emissions by up to 80% over the coming years. Through sourcing sustainable materials, efficient work forces to homes being installed with renewable energy sources.
One of our chosen partners house types has been designed to achieve an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) ‘A’ rating; a standard met by less than 1% of new and existing dwellings in England & Wales.
Wherever possible, we seek to increase our onsite biodiversity net gain by introducing natural wildlife habitats to attract and encourage a wide range of species. To introduce and maintain realistic planting programs with longevity in mind.
To date we have incorporated woodland management programs, detailed planting programs, wildlife corridors and biodiversity ponds. In other words, we strive to improve the biodiversity of any given landscape in a better place than what we had begun with for a greener outlook to be enjoyed by all.
